Senior Product Manager

Role overview We are hiring an experienced product manager to own critical workstreams across a cloud payroll, HR, time, and benefits ecosystem built for small and midsize employers. The position requires a strategic visionary who is equally comfortable as a tactical team player, accountable for multi-year platform scaling, regulatory accuracy, and tangible customer and revenue outcomes.

Responsibilities - Author and drive a multi-year vision and roadmap for core payroll capabilities, aligning workstreams directly with company objectives, ARR growth, and retention targets - Serve as a strategic partner to engineering, revenue, and operations leadership in architecting scalable, automated solutions for multi-state wage rules, tax updates, and HR compliance demands - Coordinate across engineering, UX, sales, operations, and executive teams, navigating complex system dependencies and mitigating cross-domain technical risk - Surface and champion high-impact AI and automation use cases spanning LLMs, machine learning, and intelligent workflows to simplify payroll setup, tax computation, and client self-service - Run end-to-end product discovery for highly ambiguous opportunities, taking capabilities from zero-to-one ideation through enterprise-grade scaling - Serve as the internal authority on payroll, benefits, and labor technology trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving customer needs - Define and instrument comprehensive product metrics and KPIs to validate hypotheses, measure feature impact, and continuously tune platform health

Requirements - 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within B2B SaaS or payroll, fintech, HRIS, or tax compliance environments - Deep familiarity with payroll, HRIS, benefits administration, time and attendance, or financial technology systems - Hands-on track record identifying, scoping, and shipping AI-enabled features or automation tools inside a SaaS platform - Strong technical fluency to engage engineering on architecture and trade-offs while distilling complexity into clear workflows - Comfort operating with high autonomy and making sound product and business decisions in fast-moving, high-stakes settings - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred
