Role overview This is a remote Project Manager position within a professional services organization that delivers integrated cybersecurity and IT services to mid-market and enterprise clients. The role oversees technology projects from planning through delivery, coordinating internal teams and external vendors to meet scope, budget, and quality targets while serving as the primary client point of contact throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Responsibilities - Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution - Monitor progress, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies that keep projects on track - Serve as the primary client contact, conducting regular status meetings, gathering feedback, and identifying opportunities to expand services - Lead and motivate project teams, delegating tasks effectively and fostering a collaborative environment - Anticipate risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate unresolved issues with recommended solutions
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field - 4+ years of IT project management experience, ideally within a managed IT services environment - Experience leading cross-functional teams across the full project lifecycle, including projects for customers with up to 3,000 users - Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira - Working knowledge of common IT solutions including Office relocations, email migrations, Windows and Server, networking, backup and disaster recovery, virtualization, and public cloud implementations on Azure or AWS
Nice to have - PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certifications
