Role overview This is a remote Project Coordinator role supporting a Project Management Organization that delivers IT, cybersecurity, and related technology engagements across professional services, managed services, NOC, cloud, and security lines of business. The coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to one or more project teams, maintaining plans, tracking progress, and preparing communications for clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Support preparation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures - Review project requirements and identify interdependencies with internal departments and external service providers - Organize, facilitate, and participate in project and stakeholder meetings, distributing minutes and following up on action items - Prepare presentation materials and assist with coordinating, documenting, and communicating project changes - Help standardize project management and documentation frameworks, ensuring artifacts adhere to those standards - Provide general administrative support, note-taking, and documentation as projects require
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required, with a bachelor's degree preferred - 2 to 4 years of experience supporting project management teams - Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus solid working knowledge of project coordination tools and practices - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines - Clear verbal, written, and presentation skills for communicating with clients and stakeholders - Ability to work independently under general supervision and escalate complex issues appropriately
Nice to have - Prior experience in Managed Services, NOC, Cloud, or Security-related engagements - Transferable administrative or PMO support experience
Benefits and work setup This is a full-time, remote, hourly position that typically reports to a department head or manager. Travel to company or stakeholder sites may be required based on project needs.
