Power Systems Studies Engineer - Data Centers

Role overview A senior electrical engineering position focused on power systems studies for data center and other mission-critical facilities. The role partners with major technology clients to deliver design calculations, technical reports, and analysis documentation, with a strong emphasis on short circuit coordination and arc flash studies.

Responsibilities - Perform short circuit analysis and produce arc flash studies for data center and mission-critical electrical systems. - Develop design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare engineering documents for client deliverables. - Coordinate with internal engineering teams, technical staff, professional staff, and clients across multiple concurrent projects. - Travel to job sites for field observation and participate in client meetings as needed. - Contribute to projects supporting hyperscale technology and other mission-critical clients across the U.S.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. - 8+ years of related electrical engineering experience. - Hands-on experience with Short Circuit Coordination and Arc Flash Study (SCCAF). - Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively on a team. - Self-starter mindset with strong investigation and troubleshooting abilities.

Nice to have - Experience with SKM and ETAP power systems software.
