About this role

Role overview A post-sales Solutions Engineer role focused on the technical side of enterprise customer success for a manufacturing AI platform. The position bridges factory-floor reality with cloud-based data, ML, and AI products, designing integrations and driving deployments that help production teams continuously monitor and improve their operations.

Responsibilities - Act as the primary technical contact on assigned accounts, spanning discovery, solution design, deployment, integration, and ongoing technical support. - Partner with Customer Success Engineers and Solutions Managers to ensure technical and relationship ownership is clearly covered across the account team. - Build trusted relationships with customer IT, technical leads, and manufacturing operations stakeholders, becoming the go-to resource for troubleshooting and integration guidance. - Design and implement technical integrations that connect factory systems and APIs to cloud endpoints, including data architecture, system configuration, and integration requirements. - Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Platform Engineering to translate customer use cases into deployed solutions, feeding field observations back as structured product feedback. - Develop and maintain integration and solution-design documentation that supports repeatable, scalable deployments across the customer base.

Requirements - 4+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Technical Consultant, supporting enterprise SaaS or digital transformation work. - Strong programming skills in Python, Golang (or equivalent), SQL, REST APIs, Bash and terminal-based workflows, plus familiarity with AI-powered coding assistants. - Hands-on experience with large datasets and off-the-shelf analytical tools, including AI tools for analysis and automation. - Working knowledge of distributed systems, middleware, integration toolsets, Windows and Linux, enterprise networking, and deploying/maintaining remote applications. - Comfort debugging performance, correctness, and reliability issues in complex integrations. - Familiarity with Google Cloud, strong written communication, and the ability to work independently on complex integration problems.

Nice to have - Direct experience working in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, reliability, or on or alongside a production floor. - Familiarity with OEE, fault analysis, predictive analytics, or production AI use cases in manufacturing contexts. - Experience with data pipeline tooling (Airflow, Databricks, or similar) and BI or dashboard platforms. - Prior experience at a growth-stage industrial technology or SaaS company (roughly 30-200 people).

Benefits and work setup - Anticipated hiring range of $95,000-$130,000 (Senior Associate) or $115,000-$160,000 (Senior) base, plus equity and benefits. - Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
