About this role
Role overview A senior individual-contributor role responsible for building the predictive analytics backbone of a value-based care organization serving Medicare populations. The position owns machine learning strategy end to end, from data-mart design through production deployment, and pairs with executive, clinical, and operations leaders to measure program impact and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities - Define and execute the machine learning roadmap, including model development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. - Build foundational ML infrastructure and MLOps pipelines that automate, monitor, and scale model creation. - Develop analytics data models in DBT to support executive dashboards and operational reporting. - Join a functional workstream as the embedded analytics expert, partnering with clinical, operations, finance, and product teams. - Identify new data sources to risk-stratify patient cohorts and evaluate clinical intervention impact. - Apply AI and large language models to improve patient and provider engagement, and analyze payor, provider, and operational data sets.
Requirements - At least 8 years of healthcare analytics experience with hands-on work in real-world clinical and claims data. - Advanced SQL for complex analysis and reporting, plus advanced Python for building and productionalizing models. - Demonstrated experience developing BI reports and dashboards for non-technical end users. - Background in DBT, AWS, and Snowflake, or comparable modern data stack tooling. - Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while collaborating across technical and clinical teams.
Nice to have - Prior experience at a health plan or managed services organization. - Familiarity with Medicare Advantage populations and value-based care delivery models.
