Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Help build the next generation of clinical imaging and diagnostics platforms that bring AI-driven analysis into oncology workflows. This is a full-stack engineering role focused on designing secure, scalable services that handle sensitive medical data and integrate directly with hospital systems used by clinicians and radiologists. The work blends distributed-systems engineering with healthcare-grade reliability, supporting both diagnostic tools and downstream treatment planning.

Responsibilities - Architect and ship distributed services and microservices on Kubernetes, with resilient deployment and scaling patterns. - Build event-driven pipelines using message queues for asynchronous processing of imaging and clinical data. - Develop FastAPI backends that ingest, process, and serve medical imaging data at production scale. - Design SQL schemas, indexing, and caching strategies that handle complex clinical datasets efficiently. - Establish CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, monitoring, logging, and safe rollback procedures. - Implement HL7 and FHIR integrations with external healthcare systems and build React/TypeScript interfaces for clinical users.

Requirements - 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping products that real users rely on. - Strong system-design skills across distributed systems and microservices. - DevOps experience with Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD, and a major cloud platform (e.g., Google Cloud). - Backend proficiency in Python using Flask or FastAPI for reliable APIs and services. - Solid SQL and relational data modeling skills, plus experience with message queues and event-driven patterns. - Frontend competency in TypeScript and React, plus C1/C2-level English and a degree from a highly-ranked university.

Nice to have - Healthcare or medical-software background. - Familiarity with regulatory regimes such as GDPR or ISO 13485. - Experience integrating machine-learning models into production workflows. - Security mindset, including threat modeling and compliance work. - Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Pulumi. - Exposure to WebGL, WebGPU, or medical-imaging frameworks such as Cornerstone3D or VTK.js.
