About this role

Role overview Join a financial product team delivering a large-scale migration of a credit-focused platform. The System Analyst will bridge business understanding and engineering execution by analyzing the current system, designing target solutions, and guiding development teams from discovery through delivery.

Responsibilities - Reverse-engineer the existing system to surface business rules, dependencies, and operational constraints - Produce detailed technical requirements and migration specifications that translate intent into actionable scope - Define and reconcile integration contracts, including REST API shapes, JSON schemas, and event payloads - Model processes and data flows with BPMN and UML diagrams (sequence, activity, component) so stakeholders share a common view - Plan data migration end-to-end, including field mappings, transformations, and cut-over strategy - Break initiatives into User Stories and Use Cases with clear acceptance criteria, then support delivery through backlog grooming and sprint planning - Identify architectural risks and bottlenecks, assist with complex incident investigation and root cause analysis, and keep the knowledge base current

Requirements - 5+ years as a System Analyst on integrations or product development, ideally in banking, fintech, or e-commerce - Strong grasp of REST API fundamentals: HTTP verbs, status codes, headers, idempotency, and versioning - Hands-on familiarity with API tooling such as Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman - Solid SQL skills for complex queries (joins, window functions) and a working understanding of PostgreSQL structure - Demonstrated ability to produce clear BPMN and UML diagrams and structured technical documentation - Exposure to event-driven architecture and brokers (Kafka or RabbitMQ), plus microservices interaction patterns - Experience working with legacy systems and data migration projects

Nice to have - Participation in architecture reviews and technical decision forums - Familiarity with CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns, or with GraphQL - Comfort reading technical documentation in English

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote position - Collaboration within an international team on a sizable financial product migration - Data-driven culture where analytical contributions directly shape product outcomes
