About this role

Role overview

A senior procurement analyst with a strong business intelligence and data analytics focus is needed to partner closely with a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This is not a conventional procurement role; the analyst acts as a key contributor to data-driven decision-making, improving visibility into spend and cost drivers, and shaping more effective sourcing strategies. A central part of the mission is building and scaling the team's analytics capabilities, often from the ground up, including reporting infrastructure, data structures, and modern tooling.

Responsibilities

- Analyze spend, supplier, and volume data across categories to surface cost drivers, sourcing opportunities, and capacity impacts - Design and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive-ready slide decks covering procurement performance, savings, and supplier QBRs - Build cost and pricing models, including should-cost and total cost of ownership frameworks, and partner with Finance to validate savings, support budgeting, and run variance analysis - Develop data structures, supplier hierarchies, spend classifications, and KPI definitions that underpin reliable reporting - Support Category Managers with market research, commodity and inflation trend analysis, RFI/RFP enablement, and supplier segmentation frameworks such as the Kraljic matrix - Track realized versus projected savings and contribute to the procurement maturity roadmap, including evaluation of emerging analytics and AI-enabled tools

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or analytics roles - Strong background in spend analysis, cost modeling, and financial or data analysis - Advanced proficiency in Excel plus hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Domo, Power BI, or comparable tools - Working knowledge of ERP or procurement systems, with SAP experience preferred - Ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights, narratives, and presentation materials for senior audiences

Nice to have

- Experience building or improving data structures, reporting frameworks, or analytics capabilities from scratch - Familiarity partnering with Finance on cost tracking, budgeting, or savings validation - Exposure to commodity markets, cost indices, or supply market analysis - Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other advanced analytics tools - Experience evaluating or implementing digital or AI-enabled procurement solutions

Benefits and work setup

- Remote work arrangement - Salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 - Reasonable accommodations available to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
