Principal Product Manager - Vet Treat

Role overview Lead product work for the core clinical care workflows in veterinary practice software. Responsibilities - Own the consultation and inpatient treatment workflows, improving task completion time and clinicians’ experience. - Set the team roadmap using customer research, user feedback and product data. - Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers, involving them in understanding and solving user problems. - Observe clinic work and run discovery with veterinary professionals; test prototypes with them early and often. - Ship and evaluate incremental improvements, using hypotheses and user feedback to guide what comes next. - Set a high bar for usability and consistency, coordinate shared patterns with other teams, and keep stakeholders informed about progress, risks and tradeoffs.

Requirements - At least five years of product management experience, including senior-level work in B2B software. - Experience owning a high-frequency professional workflow and measurably making it faster and simpler. - Ability to combine AI-assisted analysis of feedback and support data with direct user research to shape product direction. - Experience setting product strategy in ambiguous situations. - Empathy for veterinary clinical teams and an instinct for simplifying complex workflows without losing important capabilities. - Strong product craft and judgment to guide a team through difficult technical problems.
