Remote job
Senior Architect, Anthropic Enablement
Job details
About this role
Role overview
This senior architect role leads technical pre-sales and enablement for an agentic AI coding platform's enterprise consulting practice. The position combines deep hands-on technical work — configuring agentic workflows, custom skills, and tool integrations — with public-facing delivery to large technical audiences and business stakeholders across regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leadership on active opportunities: run technical discovery, scope proof-of-concept builds, and deliver live demonstrations of agentic coding tools tailored to a prospect's real environment and workflows. - Design and lead hands-on enablement sessions for groups of 20+ engineers or technical business users, covering agentic coding workflows, custom skills, server integrations, subagent orchestration, permission and tool-access models, and how to fit the platform into existing engineering practice. - Field detailed live questions on architecture, context management, tool permissions, data flow, security posture, and failure modes, without deferring to a second technical voice. - Translate technical capability into business cases by mapping high-value workflows to platform capabilities and surfacing where automation unlocks the next phase of a client's work. - Treat every workshop and demo as discovery: identify where follow-on engagement lives and feed that into proposals, statements of work, and delivery roadmaps. - Build reusable technical assets — demo repositories, sample skills, workshop curricula, and reference architectures — that accelerate future engagements. - Advise financial services, insurance, and other regulated clients on secure, compliant configurations, including governance, audit trails, and data handling. - Track technical adoption depth, workshop-to-pipeline conversion, and follow-on scope generated.
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting, with recent hands-on depth in agentic AI systems. - Deep, current fluency configuring custom skills, server integrations, subagents, and permission scopes on the named agentic coding platform, not surface-level familiarity. - A specific, named example of something personally built with agentic tooling: a custom skill, an integration, a multi-step agent workflow, or a CI/CD pipeline with an agent in the loop. - Proven experience presenting to large (20+) technical audiences and holding ground against skeptical senior engineers unaided. - Pre-sales or technical sales engineering experience including discovery calls, live demos, statement-of-work scoping, or technical proposal input. - Composure to demo or debug live in real time without a script, and comfort operating in regulated enterprise environments.
Nice to have
- Direct experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry. - Background as a sales engineer or solutions consultant at an enterprise software or AI company. - Contributions to internal platform tooling such as custom server integrations, shared skill libraries, or agent orchestration frameworks.
