About this role

Role overview Own the technical relationship and delivery outcomes for a portfolio of customer accounts using data integration systems. You will lead onboarding and implementations, help customers troubleshoot issues, and keep projects moving by translating between technical teams, business leaders, and internal partners. The role combines technical breadth with sustained customer ownership.

Responsibilities - Learn each account’s environment, history, goals, and constraints, and guide integration projects from initial design through production use. - Set clear expectations, lead difficult conversations, and agree on practical next steps when timelines slip, systems degrade, or a platform limitation affects delivery. - Identify risks to adoption, sponsorship, or scalability early, documenting the concern and recommended action. - Diagnose problems such as failed runs, changing schemas, authentication or connectivity failures, and performance issues; provide engineering with a clear reproduction when escalation is needed. - Explain technical situations in terms that make sense to data engineers, security reviewers, and business executives. - Coordinate with customer success and support colleagues on renewal risks, share expansion signals with sales, and coach other solutions architects on customer work.

Requirements - 5+ years in technical customer-facing work, such as solutions architecture, implementation, technical account management, consulting, support engineering, or stakeholder-facing data engineering. - Some hands-on experience building software or data systems, plus ownership of accounts or projects through delivery. - Clear communication and writing, including concise summaries of decisions, next steps, and owners after important conversations. - Ability to navigate conflict, acknowledge problems, challenge unsuitable requirements, and preserve customer trust. - Working familiarity with common data and software environments, including Python and SQL, APIs, authentication, networking, Linux, containers, and cloud data systems; depth in every area is not expected. - Practical troubleshooting judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical specialists and nontechnical stakeholders.

Nice to have Experience with a data integration, ETL, or data platform provider; earlier work in data or software engineering; exposure to regulated industries; or experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
