Requirements - Demonstrable experience producing and editing video in a fast-paced digital newsroom, broadcaster, or comparable media environment - Proven ability to ship several finished video stories per day to a high standard - Strong news judgement and a clear sense of how video strengthens digital journalism - Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable professional editing software - Solid grasp of media law, copyright, sourcing ethics, and verification best practice - Excellent communication, scripting, and caption-writing skills, with the ability to stay calm under deadline pressure

Nice to have - Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Canva, Firefly, Flourish, or Google Earth Studio - Experience producing motion graphics, maps, or data visualisations - Hands-on filming experience and the ability to set up remote or in-person interviews - Knowledge of CMS workflows, YouTube publishing tools, and social media publishing platforms - Comfort using audience analytics to shape format and coverage decisions
