Associate Software Engineer- Infrastructure

Role overview

Build and operate the infrastructure that routes incoming traffic to a global software platform. The role focuses on a resilient ingress data plane, service mesh and load balancing, with work spanning on-premises and multi-cloud environments. By improving automation and network infrastructure, you will help engineering teams ship changes safely and maintain dependable services.

Responsibilities - Design and operate scalable, reliable ingress and traffic management systems. - Maintain and improve global service mesh and load balancing capabilities. - Evolve DNS and content delivery infrastructure for performance and resilience. - Use automation and infrastructure-as-code to support safe, incremental changes across a large fleet. - Coordinate with product, design, and platform teams on infrastructure improvements.

Requirements - At least 3 years of professional programming experience with Go or Python. - At least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience. - Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins. - Understanding of DNS, HTTP, and TCP networking fundamentals. - Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

Nice to have - Experience with Envoy or similar service mesh and Layer 7 proxy systems. - Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus or OpenTelemetry. - Azure cloud networking experience.
