DevOps Engineer (Europe, remote) - Sherpany

Role overview Build and operate the cloud infrastructure and delivery systems behind a meeting management software product used by organizations for board and executive meetings. This hands-on DevOps role covers deployment pipelines, Kubernetes services, infrastructure automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and shared operational support in a distributed team.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions or comparable tooling. - Deploy and operate applications running on Kubernetes, with containerization and orchestration practices. - Provision and manage cloud infrastructure through infrastructure-as-code and configuration tools. - Automate operational tasks and improve deployment and support processes. - Monitor application and system health, investigate performance data, and troubleshoot incidents. - Participate in an on-call rotation and assist with service issues when needed.

Requirements - 3–5 years of relevant DevOps experience and a solid understanding of DevOps processes. - Practical experience implementing or improving CI/CD workflows. - Knowledge of Linux, especially Ubuntu or Debian, and network infrastructure. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and distributed systems. - Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration management. - Strong debugging skills, ownership, proactive teamwork, and written and spoken English communication.

Nice to have - Experience with AWS or Azure, Git, PostgreSQL or Redis, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Mimir, or Loki. - Experience with on-call support and analysis of system performance data.
