Role overview
A senior designer role owning the full design lifecycle for search interfaces across enterprise digital platforms. Operating as an individual contributor within a unified experience portfolio, the position drives interaction, flow, and visual design decisions that shape how users discover information. It also actively contributes search-specific components back into the shared design system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UX and visual design for search experiences across digital platforms, including interaction decisions, user flows, wireframes, and final high-fidelity execution - Maintain visual alignment with the global design system while building and refining search-specific components - Collaborate with the core design system team in a contribution model, feeding search patterns, assets, and guidelines back into the central system - Partner with product management and engineering to validate usability, technical feasibility, and visual execution across surfaces - Establish and refine core interaction and visual patterns that support search, filtering, and discovery across multiple brand properties
Requirements
- 5+ years as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or Visual Designer owning end-to-end digital product design - Portfolio demonstrating balanced strength in UX interaction flow, information architecture, and high-fidelity visual UI polish - Experience working within, contributing to, and evolving multi-brand or enterprise design systems - Strong proficiency in modern digital design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD - Experience partnering with engineering teams during implementation to ensure design integrity across live products
Nice to have
- Prior experience designing search, discovery, catalog, or complex data navigation interfaces for large-scale enterprise or regulated environments - Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML/CSS to facilitate technical alignment with developers - Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field
