IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Role overview

An IT Infrastructure Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of infrastructure technology projects, from kick-off through close-out, ensuring work lands on time and within budget. The role partners with engineering, operations, customers, and subcontractors to align scope, risk, and resources across the full project lifecycle, while serving as the main point of contact across all parties.

Responsibilities

- Apply standardized project and process management methodology, tools, and reporting to drive consistent, successful delivery. - Lead kick-off meetings, act as the initial escalation contact for project issues, and produce accurate monthly forecasting to support staffing and financial analysis. - Contribute to bid and proposal development and negotiate pricing and terms with subcontractors on assigned work. - Proactively identify risk, forecast project trajectory, and take timely action to keep initiatives on schedule and on budget. - Maintain detailed project records covering progress, photographs, daily tracking reports, and job costing, and keep customers and stakeholders informed through regular status updates. - Track operational KPIs such as Days to Invoice, technician on-time arrival, target goals, productivity, and quoted-to-actual margin, while working to improve customer satisfaction and SLA accountability.

Requirements

- Three to five years of experience working in a project environment, including relevant IT infrastructure industry experience and overall project responsibility. - Ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot proactively, and define technical issues by collecting data and drawing sound conclusions. - Strong analytical reasoning to evaluate ideas and weigh their strengths and weaknesses. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with managers, employees, customers, and vendors, in clear, concise, and professional language. - Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and educate customers. - English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
