Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models that serve as the foundation for analytics and product innovation - Lead well-scoped data assets with attention to accuracy, documentation, and stakeholder alignment - Improve pipeline reliability and observability through monitoring, testing, and root-cause investigation of failures - Tackle moderately complex problems independently while escalating tradeoffs and dependencies when appropriate - Communicate clearly with engineering, analyst, and business partners on requirements, assumptions, and progress - Write clean, tested, documented code and adopt modern practices, including AI-assisted tooling
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline - Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools such as AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, or similar platforms - Strong SQL skills and working proficiency in Python for pipeline development, transformation, and debugging - Comfort with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot - Working knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and query performance - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
