Sr. Project Manager

Role overview

Senior Project Manager role within a Salesforce consulting practice focused on subscription-economy clients. The position centers on client-facing delivery leadership — owning engagement outcomes end to end while acting as the primary liaison with executive stakeholders. It is a consulting role first, with travel expected and intensity scaling as enterprise accounts grow.

Responsibilities

- Own overall scope, schedule, and budget across active engagements, coordinating hand-in-hand with client project managers and internal delivery resources. - Serve as the main point of contact for client stakeholders from kickoff through adoption, running discovery sessions and requirements workshops with the right participants in the room. - Proactively identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and scope changes, guiding customers through resolution and change-order processes. - Provide leadership, feedback, and direction to individual contributors on each engagement and hold the team accountable for its deliverables. - Coordinate with peer project managers to share resources, maintain forecasts, and contribute reusable standards, templates, and best practices for the broader delivery practice. - Mentor other project managers and support internal training and practice-development events.

Requirements

- 7+ years of project management experience delivering Salesforce projects in a consulting capacity. - Strong understanding of B2B and B2C customer lifecycles, including contract, quote, order, and billing flows, along with data migrations and integrations. - Familiarity with technical solutions delivered using both waterfall and agile methodologies. - Comfortable maintaining high utilization (around 85%) while running 1–3 fast-paced engagements concurrently. - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, plus the judgment to manage risk and issues directly with clients.

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting, JIRA, Smartsheet, Slack, and Google Workspace. - Scrum Master and/or PMP certification. - Ability to view situations from multiple angles and articulate the best path forward clearly.
