Solution Architect - Healthcare & Life Sciences (SAFe)

Role overview A remote Solution Architect position focused on the Healthcare and Life Sciences domain, working within an engineering organisation serving the Iberia region. The role centers on designing end-to-end technical solutions that bridge business needs and platform delivery, operating within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.

Responsibilities - Define and document solution architectures for healthcare and life sciences engagements, aligning technical designs with business and regulatory objectives. - Collaborate with engineering, product, and stakeholder teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical designs. - Guide development teams working in a SAFe/Agile setup, supporting release planning, architectural runway, and continuous delivery practices. - Evaluate technology choices, integration patterns, and architectural trade-offs to meet solution and compliance needs in the healthcare domain. - Act as a technical authority during implementation, reviewing designs and supporting teams through delivery.

Requirements - Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with hands-on involvement in healthcare or life sciences initiatives. - Strong working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including its roles, artifacts, and ceremonies. - Broad technical background across enterprise integration, application architecture, and modern development platforms. - Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Eligibility to work remotely from Spain within the Iberia service region.

Nice to have - Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and data-handling considerations relevant to clinical or life sciences platforms. - Experience coordinating across multiple Agile teams in a program-level environment.
