UX Designer

Role overview Design end-to-end digital product experiences across web, iOS, and Android, turning complex business and technical needs into clear workflows, polished interfaces, and interactive prototypes. You’ll own substantial initiatives and work closely with product, engineering, and compliance partners, with a particular focus on payment journeys and thoughtful AI-enabled features.

Responsibilities - Translate complex requirements into user flows, mockups, documentation, and interactive prototypes that cover key states and edge cases. - Map payment journeys such as checkout, wallets, onboarding, disputes, and money movement, including failure and exception paths. - Partner with product owners to shape feature scope, clarify user needs, and prioritize competing requirements. - Conduct user research and competitive analysis, and use findings to inform personas and design decisions. - Collaborate with legal, risk, and compliance teams on security, disclosures, accessibility, and financial regulations. - Support developers through implementation and QA, maintain design patterns, and contribute clear UX copy.

Requirements - At least five years in UX design, or in software engineering with substantial design responsibility. - Degree in HCI or a related field, or a master’s degree; relevant fields include psychology, communications, design, and computer science. - Portfolio showing web and mobile products designed from concept through development, including interactive prototypes and workflows. - Strong skills in requirements synthesis, project ownership, communication, and collaboration with product and development teams. - Experience with responsive web design, iOS and Android conventions, and iterative methods such as Scrum or Agile. - Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator; understanding of digital design principles and AI experience design, including transparency and user control.

Nice to have - Background in payments, fintech, banking, or other regulated financial products. - Experience using AI tools or code-assisted prototyping, and familiarity with WCAG, Jira, Principle, or After Effects.
