Product Designer (Mobile UX/UI)

Role overview Own the mobile product design for a shopping app that helps people find items across stores and complete one combined checkout. You’ll turn product decisions into polished, buildable iOS designs, establish the design system, and work closely with engineers; later, you’ll also contribute to shopper and partner experiences for checkout infrastructure.

Responsibilities - Design the end-to-end iOS journey, from browsing and AI-assisted discovery through product details, basket, shipping, payment, order tracking, and support. - Shape conversational shopping flows, including clarifying questions, product recommendations, alternatives, and editable preferences. - Cover empty, loading, error, unavailable, and partial-failure states so shoppers can understand what is happening and what to do next. - Build and maintain a reusable design system, prototypes, and high-fidelity interaction designs in Figma. - Collaborate with engineers to refine designs, address implementation questions, and review the finished experience. - Use shopper feedback and product data to improve usability, conversion, and trust.

Requirements - Strong experience designing and shipping mobile apps, especially iOS experiences. - Proficiency with Figma, interaction design, prototyping, and design systems. - Ability to translate product goals into detailed, implementation-ready designs and account for edge cases. - Working knowledge of accessibility principles, including WCAG. - Clear English communication and confidence explaining design decisions to product and engineering colleagues.

Nice to have - Experience with Arabic and right-to-left interfaces, e-commerce, marketplaces, checkout or payments, or conversational AI products. - Familiarity with shoppers in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, motion design, or early-stage teams.

Benefits and work setup - Full-time role, remote or UAE-based, with regular overlap with UAE working hours. - Work with a distributed team across the Gulf and South Asia.
