Director, Product Management - Head of Cal AI

Role overview Own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for an early-stage consumer health application with demonstrated traction. The role combines product leadership, continuous discovery, cross-functional alignment, and growth execution, with responsibility for scaling the product toward a large user base and durable business impact. It is currently an individual-contributor position with potential to develop into people leadership.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap, connecting squad priorities to company objectives and customer outcomes. - Lead continuous discovery using qualitative and quantitative research to validate problems, opportunities, and solutions. - Align product, engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market partners when priorities or evidence conflict. - Establish clear communication of strategy, goals, priorities, and decisions for delivery teams and senior leadership. - Own the performance of the product area and hold work to measurable customer and business results. - Help improve the broader product operating model by sharing effective practices, surfacing risks, and raising the quality of discovery and delivery.

Requirements - 10+ years of product leadership experience with measurable impact on customers and the business. - Experience leading multiple squads or a substantial product area. - A track record of scaling an early-stage product after initial product-market fit, including improving market penetration and revenue. - An operator’s mindset: decisive with incomplete information, highly effective at prioritization, and consistently focused on shipping valuable products. - Strong ability to connect user problems with business outcomes and communicate strategy in ambiguous or contested situations. - Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and data-informed iteration at scale. - Experience leading consumer product development for native iOS and Android applications. - Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, from team ceremonies to executive presentations.
