Requirements - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Four or more years operating or automating complex technical systems. - Proficiency in Python, Julia, or another high-level scripting language. - Strong systems-level understanding of satellite operations across both ground and space segments. - Collaborative communication style with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. - Comfort working independently and as part of a team, with strong initiative.

Nice to have - Hands-on experience automating complex systems and operating spacecraft, ground stations, or other communication infrastructure. - Deep familiarity with satellite subsystems including power, propulsion, communication, and payload. - Experience guiding satellites through LEOP campaigns and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. - Knowledge of industry standards such as ITU and FCC regulations as they apply to satellite operations.

Benefits and work setup - Remote work from an approved location. - Salary range of $140,000 to $195,000 plus equity and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability and life insurance. - Three weeks of paid vacation for new employees, twelve paid holidays, unlimited sick time, and paid parental leave. - U.S. export-control eligibility required for this role.
