Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

Join an early product engineering team building a new consumer membership platform from the ground up. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role for a generalist who can take features from idea through production, working across backend services, APIs, data models, and web or mobile experiences intended for a very large user base.

Responsibilities

- Deliver consumer-facing features end to end, from service and data-layer work through the client experience. - Work across the stack on backend systems, APIs, and web or mobile interfaces, including cross-platform client development where appropriate. - Collaborate closely with product design and the broader squad through rapid, practical iteration cycles. - Use AI coding agents and modern development tools as a regular part of the engineering workflow. - Own quality at scale, including performance, reliability, usability, and the details that affect millions of users. - Establish technical patterns and engineering practices that future product teams can build on.

Requirements

- Experience shipping production features for consumer products used by millions of people. - Strong full-stack capability, with the ability to go deep in one area while integrating effectively across the rest of the system. - A proven record of owning and launching work rather than only contributing within a large delivery process. - Experience combining startup-style, zero-to-one execution with an understanding of the reliability and operational challenges of large-scale products. - Comfort working through ambiguity, prototyping quickly, and prioritizing useful shipped outcomes. - Deep, practical use of AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day engineering work.

Benefits and work setup

The package includes target total compensation of $289,000–$352,000, comprising a fixed annual salary of $143,000–$219,000, equity, an annual performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
