Contract Sr Data Analyst (SQL,Telemetry,Browser Engine)

Role overview Analyze browser-engine telemetry to show how technical performance connects to real-world user experience. This contract role focuses on measurement quality and behavioral analysis across desktop and Android, producing reliable evidence that engineering and product leaders can use to set performance priorities and technical budgets.

Responsibilities - Create and maintain summary dashboards that make performance data accessible to product managers and leadership. - Inspect instrumentation and source code to find missing telemetry collection points. - Design approaches for identifying and removing bot traffic, hardware noise, and other inconsistencies from data. - Investigate how changes in performance metrics relate to user-facing issues and engagement, and communicate the results in reports. - Collaborate with performance and data teams and product leadership to connect analysis to decisions.

Requirements - Advanced SQL experience, including BigQuery or Redash. - Applied statistical analysis experience, such as correlation and multivariate analysis. - Ability to understand browser component behavior and its potential effect on user experience. - Strong analytical communication: translate technical questions and findings into actionable product or business insights. - Self-directed problem solving in unfamiliar domains, using available documentation, experiments, code, and data.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Rust or C++ and AI tools for coding or data visualization.
