Role overview A senior analytics role embedded in a financial wellbeing squad that supports customers facing financial difficulty. The work combines strategic analysis with hands-on reporting and controls, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists in an agile environment. It suits someone who can move between detailed SQL work and broader strategic thinking about how a growing credit portfolio should evolve.

Responsibilities - Generate proactive insights that shape the team's strategy for helping customers in financial difficulty - Build and maintain Looker dashboards, reports, and metrics that track business and customer outcomes - Partner with product, engineering, and data science to bring data-driven rigour to product development decisions - Support reporting to third parties and regulators, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery - Build and maintain controls so that operational processes run as intended - Contribute to international expansion planning through structured analysis - Lead projects that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of data across the team

Requirements - Solid grounding in SQL and experience applying it to real business questions - Hands-on experience with a range of data analysis tools, knowing when each is appropriate - A background that balances strategic thinking with the ability to get into the detail - Confidence working autonomously and collaborating with subject matter experts - Strong communication skills for translating analysis into actionable recommendations - Comfort working in a fast-growing, evolving business with shifting priorities

Nice to have - Prior experience in financial health, credit, or similar regulated domains - Familiarity with dbt, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform, or Python

Benefits and work setup - Salary £76,000 to £95,000 plus performance-linked incentive awards - London, Cardiff, or fully remote within the UK with ad hoc travel to London - Flexible hours, part-time considered where possible - Annual learning budget of £1,000 for books, training, or conferences - Visa sponsorship and relocation support available
