Program Director

Role overview A technology services consulting team is hiring a Program Director to lead a large-scale client engagement end-to-end, owning the client relationship, program strategy, and delivery health. The role sets direction for a cross-functional team of 40-50, balancing strategic perspective with ground-level visibility into execution. It is a remote U.S. role with occasional travel expected.

Responsibilities - Build and own senior-level client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for all program communications - Define and evolve the strategic roadmap, ensuring workstreams align with outcomes that matter to the client - Lead and provide clear direction to a large, multidisciplinary team spanning multiple seniority levels - Maintain ground-level visibility to identify real blockers, delivery risk, and areas where the plan needs to evolve - Manage commercial performance including budget accountability, margin protection, and forecast accuracy - Make resourcing decisions that balance delivery quality and financial sustainability - Partner with account leadership on expansion opportunities and renewal conversations - Navigate competing priorities, scope pressure, and difficult conversations while preserving relationships

Requirements - 10+ years leading large-scale technology services programs in a consulting or agency environment - Track record managing programs of $5M or more annually with direct accountability for budget, margin, and revenue recognition - Experience leading teams of 30 or more across multiple disciplines and seniority levels - Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify risk and protect margin - Demonstrated success building senior client relationships in complex, high-stakes environments - Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks with globally distributed teams - Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver concise, credible updates at the executive level
