Senior Illustrator

Role overview This role sits within the User Experience, digital, and creative team of a fast-growing fintech, producing original artwork for product surfaces across web and digital touchpoints. The illustrator interprets complex briefs, develops inspiring imagery, and renders concepts from written words, models, sketches, and imagination. The aim is to translate abstract product ideas into engaging, marketable visuals that elevate the brand's visual language.

Responsibilities - Prepare rough draft illustrations according to requirements and product specifications. - Create complete illustrations and refine design concepts using colour, graphics, effects, and illustration software. - Apply isometric techniques to add perspective to complex visual shapes. - Ensure all digital illustrations meet high quality and colour standards. - Brainstorm with the design team to develop new creative ideas, patterns, visual styles, and concepts. - Stay current with emerging design techniques, industry trends, and graphics software.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in fine arts, design, visual arts, or a related field. - 4-5 years of proven work experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or similar visual design role. - A strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of completed illustrations. - Hands-on experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software. - Advanced drawing, painting, and digital artwork rendering skills. - Deep expertise in image editing and design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. - Strong conceptual thinking and artistic problem-solving abilities. - Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
