Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

Role overview Design and maintain the infrastructure that supports a software platform, with a focus on reliability, scale, and security. The work spans cloud environments, deployment systems, observability, and troubleshooting, in collaboration with product and engineering colleagues.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain core infrastructure components. - Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment processes. - Tune application performance and resource use. - Apply security practices and address infrastructure incidents. - Document systems and guide teammates on infrastructure work.

Requirements - At least three years of software engineering or infrastructure experience. - Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and with Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Understanding of networking, distributed systems, security, and observability. - Proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. - Clear communication, problem-solving skills, and a Europe-based location for team collaboration.
