About this role

Role overview

A 3D graphics platform is hiring an Integrations Engineer to build the bridges between artist tools, partner platforms, and its neural rendering pipeline. The role centers on shipping plugins, exporters, and platform integrations that let creators work without changing their existing workflow. It's a remote, ownership-driven position working across graphics, asset pipelines, and partner engineering.

Responsibilities

- Build plugins and exporters inside mainstream DCC tools (Substance, Maya, Blender, Houdini, Unity, Unreal) so asset import becomes a native step in an artist's flow. - Develop integrations with the platforms customers already publish to, including asset management systems, CMSs, and SaaS destinations using APIs, OAuth, and webhooks. - Own each integration end-to-end: scope, build, package, release, document, and support it through host app and partner API version changes. - Maintain asset fidelity across the pipeline, managing USD composition, material attributes, texture standards, scene scaling, and color spaces, and debugging discrepancies when assets render inconsistently across targets. - Extend a shared integration framework so successive integrations require less effort than the last. - Write documentation and sample code an external developer or artist can follow independently, and partner with internal pipeline, streaming, and cloud teams.

Requirements

- 4+ years shipping production software. - Python plus production-level experience in C++, C#, or TypeScript. - Strong graphics literacy covering PBR materials, color spaces, and common 3D formats (OpenUSD, glTF, FBX, Alembic), with the ability to diagnose why the same asset renders differently in two engines. - Proven ability to debug ambiguous, multi-system asset pipelines spanning third-party tools. - Experience with DCC tool integration and/or SaaS platform integrations (APIs, OAuth, webhooks).

Nice to have

- Familiarity with OpenUSD composition/schemas, AOUSD involvement, OpenPBR, or MaterialX. - Web or XR graphics runtime experience (Three.js, WebGL, WebGPU, visionOS, Quest). - Exposure to color management, tonemapping, open source contributions, or joint vendor integrations. - Customer-facing experience during technical integrations, or domain exposure in e-commerce, media and entertainment, or AEC.

Benefits and work setup

- Target base salary range of $89,155–$148,368 USD. - Remote-first culture with a globally distributed team and flexible working hours. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; FSA; generous PTO; 401(k). - Technology and wellness stipends, plus equity options as a significant portion of total compensation.
