Role overview
This is a remote, US-based Technical Product Manager position centered on observability within a computer software organization. The role sits inside the Product Management department and is intended for someone who can lead product work for observability capabilities end-to-end. Responsibilities
- Drive the product roadmap for observability capabilities and communicate direction to stakeholders - Partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to scope, prioritize, and ship observability features - Translate observability concepts into clear product requirements, specifications, and user stories - Gather and synthesize feedback from users and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions - Track product outcomes and iterate based on data, customer input, and engineering feedback
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a comparable product role - Working familiarity with observability domains such as monitoring, logging, metrics, or tracing - Comfort collaborating with software engineering teams on technical, infrastructure-oriented products - Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to a distributed, remote environment - Self-directed work style appropriate for a fully remote role within the United States
