Technical Product Manager, Kubernetes Services – Remote (US)

Role overview

This position leads product management for a Kubernetes services portfolio, combining hands-on technical judgment with roadmap ownership and cross-functional coordination. The role is fully remote within the United States and sits within the product management organization of a computer software company whose work centers on cloud-native infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Own the product roadmap for Kubernetes-related services, prioritizing investments based on customer needs, platform maturity, and market opportunity - Partner with engineering to define requirements, scope releases, and align on technical tradeoffs for container orchestration capabilities - Translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear positioning, documentation, and enablement for internal and external audiences - Collect and synthesize feedback from users, field teams, and market signals to guide ongoing product direction - Track adoption, product health, and competitive context to refine strategy over time

Requirements

- Experience as a product manager working on cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, or closely related infrastructure services - Strong technical fluency with containerization, orchestration, and modern deployment tooling - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering on architecture decisions and on API or service design - Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders - History of shipping and iterating on software products that serve developers or operators

Nice to have

- Background contributing to or working alongside open-source communities in the cloud-native ecosystem - Familiarity with adjacent areas such as service mesh, observability, CI/CD pipelines, or multi-cluster operations
