Staff Product Manager

Role overview A strategic Staff Product Manager position focused on a signal priority and preemption software portfolio that powers real-time traffic intersection priority for emergency vehicles, public transit, and commercial fleets. Reporting to a senior Product leader, this role owns the multi-year portfolio vision, partners across engineering and go-to-market teams, and shifts the product experience from reactive dashboards toward AI-driven predictive optimization. The work directly influences emergency response times, transit efficiency, and fleet safety in cities worldwide.

Responsibilities - Define and own the 3–5 year strategic vision, success metrics, and roadmap for the signal priority and preemption portfolio, spanning hardware, edge, and cloud software across multiple fleet types. - Translate ambiguous, high-complexity problems in the priority and preemption space into actionable, market-ready solutions that reduce deployment friction and improve unit economics. - Run a continuous discovery cadence to validate riskiest assumptions early, building high-conviction business cases that shape long-term platform direction. - Drive the transition from reactive data visualization toward automated, AI-powered predictive optimization for customers. - Serve as the executive-level authority on priority systems and smart infrastructure, influencing company-wide product strategy and advising senior leadership on market positioning. - Align Sales, Engineering, and Go-To-Market partners around high-stakes releases, negotiate complex trade-offs, scale key revenue streams, and mentor junior product managers.

Requirements - Extensive senior product management experience owning complex technical software portfolios at scale. - Demonstrated ability to set long-term portfolio vision, define success metrics, and connect hardware, edge, and cloud components into a coherent platform strategy. - Strong track record of continuous discovery, validating assumptions, and turning ambiguous problems into shipped solutions. - Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Go-To-Market teams and aligning stakeholders without constant leadership escalation. - Familiarity with AI, predictive analytics, or data-driven optimization applied to software products. - Excellent communication and executive-level influence skills, including mentoring other product managers.
