Role overview
This is a senior leadership role owning the end-to-end product strategy for a business banking platform that serves hundreds of thousands of companies. The Head of Product will set the vision, lead a team of product managers, and be accountable for deposit and payment growth as well as overall business performance in a regulated fintech environment.
Responsibilities
- Own P&L, strategy, and the full product offering across accounts, user experience, payments, new payment rails, and agent-powered features - Build AI- and data-driven user experiences that outperform alternatives at scale - Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing PM team; set the operating cadence and culture that drives both pace and quality - Deepen the core account experience and take new products from 0-1 to scale, investing in new rails, capabilities, and agents so customers can focus on running their companies - Treat reliability and trust as product features, owning uptime, correctness, latency, and support outcomes, and being measured on them - Align cross-functional partners, including engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, legal, marketing, sales, support, and external banking partners, behind one cohesive strategy
Requirements
- 10+ years of product experience, ideally in banking, payments, platforms, or financial products - 5+ years leading product managers, including hiring, coaching, org design, and performance management - Deep knowledge of how business banking works: account opening, KYB, deposits and liquidity, and payment rails such as ACH, wire, check, international, FedNow, and RTP - Experience launching and scaling 0-1 financial products alongside operating a large product with real customers on it, ideally in fintech or another high-growth environment - Strong cross-functional leadership across engineering, design, risk, compliance, finance, and partners - Sound judgment in a regulated, risk-sensitive environment, balancing a delightful user experience with the controls a banking product requires
