About this role
Role overview This is a part-time internship for a Product Designer focused on AI-assisted prototyping. The role combines hands-on Figma design with building working prototypes using AI tooling, all under the guidance of a dedicated mentor and from day one on a real commercial project serving both established companies and early-stage startups.
Responsibilities
- Design useful app interfaces in Figma, applying AI-assisted workflows alongside traditional craft - Translate designs into working prototypes using tools such as Claude Code, with the goal of handing over a functional link rather than a static file - Contribute to a live commercial project, taking on meaningful design tasks rather than purely supportive work - Participate in the scrum process, collaborating closely with developers and Product Owners - Join client meetings and present work with mentor support
Requirements
- Basic design background and a portfolio (commercial experience not required) - Foundational knowledge of Figma - Hands-on experimentation with AI tools that turn a design idea into something running, even if it never shipped - Familiarity with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or Lovable, with at least one explored - Ability to articulate design decisions beyond subjective taste - Proactive mindset, openness to feedback, and a strong desire to learn - Student status with Polish at C1 and English at C1
Nice to have
- A portfolio project accessible via a live link rather than static screenshots - Current study or recent graduation in graphic design, product design, or a related creative field - Exposure to UI or UX principles - Background in branding, marketing design, or other visual disciplines - Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Webflow, Jitter, Framer, or Make
