Automation Engineer (n8n & APIs)

Role overview Build dependable workflow automations that help clients handle recurring operational tasks such as lead assignment, payment reminders, order updates, and reporting. You will work directly with clients to understand their current processes, then connect their messaging, CRM, accounting, and spreadsheet tools through automation platforms and small custom services.

Responsibilities - Map a client's existing workflow and agree which steps are the best candidates for automation. - Build and test automations using n8n, Make, or small Python and Node.js services. - Connect business tools through APIs, including messaging, CRM, accounting, and workspace products. - Add retries, error handling, and alerts so failures are visible and recoverable. - Prepare clear handover notes and record a short walkthrough for each implementation.

Requirements - At least two years building integrations or backend services. - Comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON. - Hands-on experience with an automation platform such as n8n, Make, or Zapier. - Clear written English and the ability to document work as it is built.
