Role overview
A Product Designer role embedded in a product trio alongside a product manager and software engineer, supporting an email marketing platform used by more than a million businesses. The designer contributes to UX strategy, improves product workflows, and supports design research that informs the roadmap, while partnering closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams. It is a growth-oriented position suited to someone eager to take ownership as their skills mature.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside product managers and engineers to surface UX challenges and opportunities grounded in product vision and requirements - Collaborate with engineering end-to-end to maximize user and business impact, navigating trade-offs together - Conduct user experience research using qualitative and quantitative methods in partnership with product and engineering - Translate complex product workflows into intuitive user flows, consistent component behaviors, and a unified visual style - Balance big-picture product vision with the day-to-day challenges of shipping a complex user-facing product - Foster a supportive environment within the immediate team and coordinate with other departments on a seamless user experience
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience as a Product Designer across multiple platforms such as web apps and third-party integrations, or in design system development and maintenance - Positive, empathetic attitude toward end users and teammates - Experience leading the design process from discovery through final delivery and post-launch analysis - Iterative design approach that starts small and improves over time - Decisions grounded in data and user knowledge - Strong interpersonal ability and communication skills, with experience rallying teams around a design vision - Comfort with AI as a baseline skill and willingness to help design AI-driven features into the product - User research experience and some working knowledge of HTML and CSS - Based in the EMEA region
