UI/UX Designer
Job details
About this role
Role overview This position focuses on crafting the user-facing surfaces of B2B web and mobile products, including admin dashboards, client portals, marketing sites, and occasional mobile screens. The work spans the full design lifecycle, from early problem framing through high-fidelity hand-off, with a strong emphasis on clarity, usability, and intentional craft before anything reaches production.
Responsibilities - Translate loosely defined briefs or problem statements into wireframes and then into polished, production-ready interfaces. - Design for both web and mobile contexts, producing hand-off artifacts that engineers can implement without guesswork. - Maintain and evolve a shared component-based design system that spans internal products and client engagements. - Review shipped work against the original design intent and advocate for changes when implementation drifts. - Communicate directly with clients on occasion, not solely through engineering counterparts.
Requirements - A track record of shipping real product UI, with portfolio work that goes beyond exploratory concepts. - Day-to-day proficiency in Figma or comparable tools, with a component-driven rather than screen-by-screen mindset. - Strong attention to usability and accessibility, balanced with visual refinement. - Ability to articulate design rationale to non-design stakeholders in clear, practical terms.
Nice to have - Light front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) sufficient to collaborate fluidly with engineers. - Prior experience designing B2B software, internal tools, or other complex workflow products.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first team structure with collaboration across US, UK, and India time zones. - Weekly shipping cadence, with working software demonstrated to clients on a regular basis. - Client-owned code and infrastructure, meaning each project must be delivered well to earn follow-on work.
