Senior DevOps Engineer - LATAM (Remote)
Job details
About this role
Role overview Build and operate a self-service infrastructure platform that helps engineers and software agents validate changes quickly and deploy them safely. You’ll own platform components spanning developer workflows, automated quality checks, and the reliability of the services teams use to ship.
Responsibilities - Develop shared delivery tools such as CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, infrastructure modules, and service templates. - Create reusable safeguards for automated agents, including isolated execution, workload identity, audit trails, and approval controls. - Provide temporary review environments and automated security, performance, and load-testing checks; keep them reliable and make results usable outside pull requests. - Build dashboards and operational controls for platform health, test outcomes, self-service usage, costs, and delivery metrics. - Participate in on-call, lead incidents through follow-up, and turn repeated operational work into automation and runbooks.
Requirements - Senior experience in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering, including operating production infrastructure and owning work end to end. - Strong AWS and Kubernetes experience, including EKS and cloud identity, networking, storage, messaging, and database services. - Experience with Terraform, GitOps, ArgoCD, and pull-request-based infrastructure workflows. - Deep CI/CD experience, particularly with GitHub Actions, pipeline reliability, test execution, artifacts, and observability. - On-call experience for systems you have built, plus clear communication with engineering teams. - Regular, considered use of AI coding tools in infrastructure work, with judgment about where they are useful.
Nice to have - Experience with workload identity, short-lived credentials, secrets management, or policy-as-code. - Developer platform work such as internal portals, command-line tools, service scaffolding, or temporary environments. - Experience building cost attribution, budgets, or rightsizing into infrastructure.
