Job details
About this role
Role overview Design and build robotics simulation scenes inside an in-house game-engine-style platform that generates training data for robotics AI. The output is not a playable game but recorded sensor streams such as camera video, robot joint data, and other signals that feed machine learning pipelines, with results verifiable back in the same engine.
Responsibilities - Construct simulation scenes by importing assets, assembling entities from components, and scripting behaviors. - Add and configure sensors, robot articulations, and interactions that produce realistic training data. - Iterate on scene design so trained policies transfer well to physical robots. - Contribute to product UI and UX design to make internal tooling more powerful for scene builders. - Collaborate with the platform team developing the engine itself, providing feedback that shapes new features.
Requirements - Hands-on experience with a modern game engine such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot. - Working knowledge of C# for scripting entity behavior and component composition. - Comfort constructing 3D scenes, importing assets, and wiring up interactions between objects. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where ideas move quickly from concept to reality. - Curiosity about robotics or simulation, even without prior AI experience.
Nice to have - Familiarity with robot joint data, camera simulation, or other sensor modeling. - Experience contributing to internal tooling or developer-facing product surfaces.
