Ax/F&O Technical Consultant

Role overview This position focuses on delivering technical solutions within the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ecosystem. The consultant translates business requirements into scalable technical designs and supports the full development lifecycle. The work blends hands-on X++ development with cross-functional collaboration to keep implementations stable and aligned with operational goals.

Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs for D365 AX/F&O environments. - Develop, customize, and integrate applications primarily using X++ and related development tools. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system stability, performance, and reliability. - Partner with functional consultants to ensure technical implementations match the underlying business processes. - Deliver training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users and project stakeholders.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience developing in D365 AX/F&O, including X++ programming. - Solid understanding of the technical architecture, data model, and extension points in AX/F&O. - Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and performance issues. - Experience integrating AX/F&O with other enterprise systems and services. - Ability to translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions. - Strong communication skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
