Role overview
A founding customer-facing leadership role within Customer Success, focused on turning secure generative AI access into measurable everyday business value for regulated enterprise customers. The position serves as the primary educator, advocate, and trusted advisor who helps non-technical employees, IT teams, and security stakeholders adopt the product confidently. Sitting within Customer Success, the role partners weekly with senior commercial leadership and account executives to drive adoption, retention, and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Execute account enablement plans that move enterprise customers from initial rollout to broad usage, targeting outcomes such as growing weekly active usage from 20% to 70%+ within 90 days - Track user activation, feature adoption, and retention across assigned accounts to ensure sustained product value - Lead workshops, lunch-and-learns, and 1:1 sessions that make generative AI practical and approachable for knowledge workers new to the space - Partner with customer business teams to identify high-value use cases and guide users in building assistants tailored to their daily workflows - Walk IT and security stakeholders through connecting internal data sources, configuring SSO, and setting up custom assistants while staying within scope as a guide rather than a sales engineer - Establish foundational enablement playbooks, training collateral, and partner certification criteria that scale customer success as the organization grows - Hire and mentor future enablement team members and partner with account executives on expansion signals, renewals, and product feedback loops
Requirements
- 6+ years in customer success, solutions consulting, technical enablement, or customer-facing GTM roles within B2B SaaS - Hands-on experience using AI tools, designing prompts, and building AI assistants in real workflows - Proven experience guiding customer IT and security teams through basic technical setups such as data source connections and SSO integrations - Demonstrated ability to build, launch, or scale customer enablement, training, or partner certification programs - Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with a track record of explaining emerging technology to non-technical audiences - Strong business acumen with experience owning outcomes tied to adoption, retention, and revenue expansion in enterprise or mid-market segments - Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort building processes from scratch in a fast-paced environment

Benefits and work setup
Base salary ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 depending on experience. Variable compensation targets 30% of total comp, yielding an estimated OTE range of $162,500 to $182,000, plus equity participation. Variable payouts track Net Revenue Retention, Expansion ARR, and product adoption and engagement metrics across the assigned book of accounts.
