Role overview
A Lead Product Manager will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Finance data and AI products that power forecasting, planning, revenue analytics, and controllership. The role focuses on bringing AI-enabled capabilities into Finance workflows to improve accuracy, speed, and confidence in decision-making at an enterprise scale. This individual contributor position reports to the Director of Product Management and follows a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days per week in office.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and roadmap for Finance data and AI products supporting forecasting, quarter-close, opex management, and go-to-market performance management. - Define and evolve Finance metrics and governance (ACV, ARR, bookings, revenue, pipeline, retention, unit economics, and core SaaS KPIs) so they are AI-ready, consistent, and explainable, and lead enterprise-wide rollout. - Partner with Corporate Finance, Business Operations, and Product to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate them into clear problem statements and measurable success criteria. - Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, ML, and Platform teams to design governed data and feature pipelines with strong quality, observability, lineage, SLAs, and audit readiness. - Define, prioritize, and deliver AI capabilities such as forecasting models, propensity and churn predictions, recommendations, anomaly detection, scenario simulations, and natural-language assistants, including experimentation, A/B testing, and post-launch monitoring. - Track emerging AI/ML and generative AI trends and bring forward new capabilities that create leverage for the business.
Requirements
- 12+ years of Finance and Product Management leadership, with experience scaling SaaS operations and enterprise data products and driving cross-functional transformation. - Demonstrated ability to develop concepts and theories by connecting data across multiple business domains. - Experience delivering ML- or AI-powered features from concept through broad adoption. - Strong stakeholder management and storytelling skills, with the ability to align Finance and Engineering leaders on outcomes and tradeoffs. - Bias for action and clarity in ambiguous settings, with a consistent record of shipping impactful products in matrixed environments. - Strong business acumen and a track record of communicating data-driven narratives to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with large language models, predictive modeling, retrieval and grounding techniques, and AI risk or guardrail patterns.
Benefits and work setup
- Hybrid work model with a minimum of two in-office days per week. - Based on applicable pay-transparency legislation, the California base salary range for this position is approximately $186,100 to $300,550, with eligibility for a company bonus plan and additional benefits. - The role is not eligible for employment in Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wyoming.
