ServiceNow Developer

Role overview Own the development, configuration, and day-to-day support of an enterprise service management platform used across IT and HR workflows. You’ll build platform features and integrations, resolve complex issues, and help guide upgrades and enhancements from requirements through release.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain applications, catalog items, workflows, scripts, business rules, and user interface components. - Build and troubleshoot integrations with external systems using APIs, authentication, webhooks, and integration platforms. - Support IT service and HR workflows, including incident, change, request, and employee processes. - Investigate platform incidents and performance issues, identify root causes, and coordinate fixes across technical teams. - Manage roles, permissions, and access controls; support upgrades, testing, deployment, and post-release follow-up. - Document technical patterns and procedures, and work with stakeholders to shape the enhancement backlog.

Requirements - Hands-on experience developing and administering the platform, ideally across IT service management or HR service delivery. - Strong JavaScript skills, including platform scripting APIs. - Experience with workflow design, business rules, scripts, access controls, and service catalog development. - Experience designing and diagnosing REST or SOAP integrations and related authentication methods. - Understanding of IT service management processes and how to implement them in a platform. - Ability to independently troubleshoot complex problems and translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions.

Nice to have - Experience with HR service delivery, IT operations, workforce or identity systems, or integration platforms. - Familiarity with generative AI features, model-connected tools, service portals, custom widgets, HTML, or CSS. - Relevant platform development or administration credentials, or IT service management certification.
