Remote job
Senior Product Designer II, Revenue Experimentation
Job details
About this role
Role overview
Lead product design experimentation focused on subscription growth and monetization for a consumer digital product. You will work at the intersection of product design, growth strategy, research, and analytics—turning loosely defined opportunities into testable hypotheses, designing high-quality experiences, and converting experiment results into actionable product learning. The role suits a senior designer who can move quickly, work comfortably with ambiguity, and connect design decisions to measurable business and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and support a high volume of experiments across revenue surfaces such as trial conversion, trial-to-paid conversion, pricing, product or plan routing, churn, and win-back experiences. - Translate incomplete briefs into clearly framed problems, testable hypotheses, and appropriately scoped experiment designs, using research and data to validate assumptions. - Generate and lead ideas proactively while serving as a constructive product partner on concepts initiated by others. - Collaborate with product management, engineering, content, data science, and analytics throughout the experiment lifecycle, from concept and implementation through quality review and results analysis. - Define success metrics, interpret findings, and use the resulting insights to develop follow-on hypotheses and inform the product roadmap. - Present concepts, progress, learnings, and outcomes to cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least six years of product design experience, ideally including growth, experimentation, subscription, or monetization work. - Demonstrated experience shipping and iterating on A/B or multivariate experiments in a fast-moving environment. - Strong product judgment and the ability to investigate an ambiguous opportunity before shaping it into a focused, measurable test. - Proactive, ideas-oriented approach with the ability to balance speed, rigorous thinking, and high visual and interaction quality. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and explain design rationale clearly. - Strong portfolio showing experimentation, problem framing, hypotheses, iteration, and measurable impact—not only polished final screens.
Nice to have
- Fluency in Figma and familiarity with experimentation or analytics platforms such as Optimizely, Amplitude, Statsig, or comparable tools. - Hands-on animation skills and comfort using AI tools to accelerate design and production work. - Clean, well-documented files and strong organizational habits across multiple concurrent projects.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first position available to candidates working remotely in the United States or Canada. - Listed base salary ranges are $152,000–$223,000 USD in the United States and $176,000–$207,000 CAD in Canada, depending on location, experience, knowledge, and skills. - Compensation may include medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
