Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role overview

Improve the infrastructure that supports a large-scale software platform by making systems more automated, reliable, and self-service. This senior engineering role spans cloud infrastructure, internal developer tools, deployment workflows, and operational response, with an emphasis on replacing repetitive manual work with software.

Responsibilities - Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows. - Build internal tools and platforms that help product engineers work efficiently. - Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices. - Join the on-call rotation and turn recurring incidents into lasting improvements. - Work with product engineering teams to understand infrastructure needs and remove friction. - Identify repetitive operational tasks and create software to handle them.

Requirements - At least eight years of professional software engineering experience. - Familiarity with AWS and willingness to learn services as needed. - Ability to solve problems by writing software as well as configuration. - Curiosity, clear communication, and a collaborative approach. - Strong production standards, with attention to code quality, automated tests, and engineering practices.

Nice to have - Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools. - Familiarity with CI/CD systems, containers, Kubernetes, or observability platforms.

Benefits and work setup - US compensation varies by location: target ranges are $163,000–$224,070, $172,600–$237,270, or $191,800–$263,670 depending on geographic zone. - Equity awards, health, vision, dental, and mental health benefits are offered in addition to salary.
