Senior Full Stack Engineer, AgentControl

Role overview

Build the customer-facing application and distributed services behind a product for configuring, evaluating, and monitoring AI agents in production. The work spans backend APIs and full-stack features, with a focus on making agent behavior adjustable, measurable, and safer to operate as use grows. You will help shape system design, collaborate closely with product and design, and take responsibility for services after they ship.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain scalable backend services, distributed systems, and APIs for agent management and evaluation. - Build production features across the application and service layers, working primarily with Go, Python, and TypeScript. - Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to identify user needs and improve AI workflows. - Contribute to architecture and design decisions, weighing tradeoffs with engineering peers. - Improve performance, reliability, and scalability; participate in on-call support and maintain production code. - Share technical knowledge through design reviews and informal mentoring, while keeping current with AI and software engineering practices.

Requirements - At least seven years of professional software engineering experience, including delivery of production-quality full-stack features. - Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining REST APIs and writing maintainable production code. - Background in distributed systems or data ingestion, with strong computer science fundamentals. - Understanding of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, or operating AI services in production. - Ability to work collaboratively with product and design teams to define requirements and deliver iteratively. - Strong ownership and communication skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity in a rapidly changing field.

Nice to have Hands-on experience building generative AI features or agents, or integrating large language models through direct model connections or AI APIs.
