Network Systems Developer position focused on the low-level transport layer of a real-time, low-latency remote control platform. The work centers on designing, hardening, and debugging the network components that power teleoperation, remote desktop, and remote rendering where every millisecond matters. Engineers in this role own performance-critical systems and participate directly in architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize network system components for a low-latency real-time transport platform - Investigate and resolve complex issues around performance, memory management, synchronization, and security - Perform advanced debugging including crash dump analysis, kernel debugging, stack analysis, and occasional reverse engineering - Write clear, durable technical documentation for systems-level work - Participate in low-level architecture decisions and conduct critical code reviews - Maintain continuous technical watch on Windows internals and system-level tooling

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of professional software development experience with a significant focus on network programming - Deep understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, UDP, congestion control, NAT traversal, encryption, and streaming pipelines - Strong grasp of operating system concepts such as threads, scheduling, memory, I/O, and sockets - Hands-on experience with network debugging and analysis tools - Proven experience with QUIC, plus familiarity with WebRTC, HLS, RTMP, or USB over IP - Proficiency in C, C++, Rust, or x86/x64 assembly, with comfort using Git in collaborative workflows

Nice to have

- Experience with embedded or cross-platform systems (Linux, macOS, Windows, embedded OS) - Background in media pipelines, real-time communication, or streaming infrastructure - Kernel-level networking or custom transport implementation experience - System security or Windows component hardening experience - Reverse engineering or malware analysis background - Contributions to low-level or systems-oriented open-source projects

Benefits and work setup

- Market-aligned salary with typical French benefits including health insurance and a 50% transportation card - On-site, hybrid, or full remote within Europe; Paris-area office available - Full-time permanent contract - Technically focused environment with strong autonomy in technical decision-making - Interview process: 15-minute screening call, two 1-hour technical interviews, followed by an informal team meet and greet
