Software Engineer II - React Native - Krak

Role overview

Join a cross-functional mobile product team building and scaling consumer payment experiences. As a React Native engineer, you’ll deliver customer-facing features with attention to usability, performance, and reliability, and stay involved from technical design through release and subsequent improvements.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain mobile features using React Native and TypeScript. - Own assigned work from technical planning through implementation, release, and post-launch iteration. - Create maintainable, resilient, and performant screens and shared components using established patterns. - Write well-tested code, participate in reviews, and apply team engineering standards. - Work with Product Managers, Designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that address customer needs. - Contribute to technical proposals, code quality, and improvements to shared tooling.

Requirements

- At least three years of software development experience, including shipping consumer mobile apps built with React Native. - Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, APIs, mobile performance, frontend testing, and modern build pipelines. - A product-focused approach and experience collaborating iteratively with product and design partners. - Comfort building responsive, interactive experiences that use real-time updates or similar live data. - Strong understanding of mobile UI and UX, with attention to customer needs and intuitive interactions. - Clear written and spoken English, plus the ability to learn new tools and practices.

Nice to have

Native iOS or Android experience, or experience with React Native animations and micro-interactions. Background in consumer payments, crypto, or fintech is useful. Full-stack capability or familiarity with Rust, Go, or C++ can help with backend work; AI tool fluency is also valued.
